one would think the *real* lesson of Watergate was lost on the media: when you are honest, with evidence, of *government* lies, you increase sales and ratings.
instead, we got the lesson of Monicagate: when you ridiculously over-present the single lie of a single person (a lie having nothing to do with actual government whatsoever), you lose ratings.
