It's like winning the "Most popular" category in the yearbook. Entirely meaningless and in a few years no one will even remember.

Well he does claim to support a universal single payer health care... Guess that cancels out all his race baiting, bullying and lying and makes him a centrist right?

Here's the thing. With Democrats sitting around on their collective thumbs and squandering political capital the Republicans are regrouping. Yeah they lost the House and the Senate and the White House. But Obama's bullshit focus on 'bipartisanship' has been turned against him by the other team and used as a bludgeon. No matter what Obama or the Dems do they will NOT get any cooperation from the Republicans. Why? Because they don't have to. All they have to do is continue their propaganda campaigns unopposed by the left and they will begin winning back the centrists that gave Obama the White House in the first place. We didn't these idiots for them to sit around doing nothing. We elected them to fix the damage George W. Bush and the Republican party has done in the last decade.

But they haven't. They haven't done a damned thing to fix anything. What's worse what little they have done, they're allowing the Republican party to control the message on. Karl Rove's still walking around free after defying a Congressional subpoena but they're going to castigate Joe 'You Lie' Wilson? That's BS. From day one they should have been reminding folks that the Republican party is responsible for all of he current debacles. But no, they don't want to look 'petty'. Bollocks! You don't win a fist fight by trying to play nice with your attacker while he's smacking you upside the head with a cudgel.

What worries me is that the Dems aren't even doing counter message control, which will put the friggin traitors who put us in the hole we're back in power. They need to start fighting back tooth and freaking nail and I the first step is to oust Pelosi and Reid. Forget this compromise shit. We didn't elect Democrats to get a watered down version of Bush's third term. We elected Democrats because the Republicans are crooks, liars, thieves, pederasts, zealots and demagogues and we don't need those kind of people in power. CPAC is a perfect example of that... what's the message? Not, "How can we fix the mess we made" but "How evil liberals are destroying America."

the Dems need to step up and step up now. It pisses me off that our choices are cowards and criminals or people who will never get elected (like Nader).
